Sandy Conservative Bowls Club
| Description: Sandy Conservative Bowls Club is a friendly, welcoming club to anyone wishing to take up bowls as a pastime. While we are a very strong team in competitive matches, we also maintain a high sense of sportsmanship and values both on and off the green. For the experienced bowler, there is no better standard of green in the County. For the newcomer, there are a variety of friendly games and light competition, such as the East Beds League, and for the over 60s, there are daytime games during weekdays. Our fixture list is full with opportunity to play in friendly or more competitive matches. The club has good representation from all age ranges, from 21 upwards. We have two players currently in the county under 30 squad, and around 10 players regularly playing for the senior Bedfordshire teams (Ladies and Men) and all players are welcoming to new comers of all abilities. The parent club has excellent facilities for after-bowls entertainment and what better way to enjoy a win than a sociable drink at the bar | ||
