Abbrook Park Bowls Club
| Description: Abbrook Park Bowling Club is a private club, located at Sandygate, to the north of Kingsteignton. Members are able to use the Sports & Social Club facilities on the same site, including a bar, and restaurant. Ample free car parking is adjacent to the club. The club was formed in 1985, and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2010. Membership is open to all persons irrespective of race,gender and age. The season commences on the third weekend of April, and finishes at the end of September. In the winter months the club organises friendly games at local indoor clubs, together with “short mat” games on Thursday evenings, and occasional skittles matches. A warm welcome will be extended to anyone, whether they are complete beginners or have experience. | ||
