Wadsley House Bowling club

We are a private club, offering bowls to Ladies, Gents and Vets. We do not have a Junior Team, but we do encourage Juniors to play Crown Green Bowls. We are hosting a South Yorkshire Junior fixture in June, against North Midlands, and we will be hosting the South Yorkshire Qualifying Rounds for the Champion of Champions Competition, with the final later in the year.

We currently enter 16 Teams into the various Local Competitions, and in recent years we have been quite successful. We hope to continue in this vein during the coming season.

I am 67 years old still reasonably fit and I'm looking to learn how to play bowls. I'm wondering what is the best way to go about it. Is there somewhere that I could learn or does your club do  'have a go' bowls sessions?

I'm just emailing you as you are quite local to where I live at Wadsley Park Village.

If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
