Baltonsborough SMBC
| Description: Founded in 1998, we now have a membership of 26 meeting on Mondays (2.00 - 4.00pm) and Tuesdays (7.00pm - 9.00pm) and Friday mornings (10.00am - 12 mid day) at the village hall. Playing in the Mendip League (Champions 2006-2007) we had two teams in the league for the 2010-2011 season and the new Blue team won the second division in their first season and now both Red and Blue teams are in the first division. We entered a team in the Yeovil Summer League 2012. Many of our members have become well known within the Short Mat Bowls community through entering and sometimes winning various tournaments. Just as important to us are the bowlers who are content to just roll-up and enjoy the company. More members would be most welcome. | ||
