Old Town Bowling Club
| Description: Old Town Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in the Calder Valley, founded in 1904. We are situated in the village of Old Town, at Wadsworth Community Centre, on the hillside about a mile above Hebden Bridge . At present we run six open age teams which bowl on weekday evening and a veterans team which bowls on a Wednesday afternoon. Over the last few years the club has grown in membership and now has over 50 members, including some of the best juniors in the area. The green has also had a lot of work carried out on it to improve the surface, this hard work is now beginning to show the much hoped for results. | ||
