Bowdon Bowling & Lawn Tennis Club
| Description: Relaxed social bowling every afternoon in a picturesque setting. Draw for partners at 2 o'clock, tea and biscuits at 3 and home by 5 for a G & T. The club welcomes lady and gentlemen players. Throughout the season we have various tournaments and social events, and friendly matches with local clubs.Handicap and Open competitions run through the summer with the finals in August. For the more competitive bowlers we have a mixed team in the Trafford Thursday Evening League. The green remains open in the winter - weather permitting. Also in the winter we have Chicago Bridge on Fridays in the Jubilee Centre. The Annual dinner is always well attended as are the Spring Luncheon and the Spring Supper. Come and see for yourself. You are welcome to an introductory session free of charge. | ||
