| Description: Pontnewydd Bowling Club is a lawn bowls club, situated in the village of Pontnewydd, Cwmbran. The club was formed in 1926 and is still going strong today, more than 80 years later. Pontnewydd Bowling Club is affiliated to the W.B.A., M.B.A. & E.V.B.A. Bowls leagues. The club is a friendly, sociable club consisting of around 20 members with a great passion and enthusiasm for the sport.
