Radnorshire Indoor Bowling Association
| Description: The Radnorshire Indoor Bowls Association(RIBA)stadium has six playing rinks for the benefit of our members.The RIBA is open to members, visitors and tourists. Visitors, who are new to bowling, can borrow bowling shoes and a set of four bowls, free of charge, and there are qualified club coaches who will be happy to show you the basics of the game to get you bowling straight away! The RIBA is a registered charity and the day to day running of the club is in the hands of an elected Board of Trustees. The RIBA organises club competitions and various leagues for those members who want to play bowls at a more competitive level. The RIBA caters for bowlers with disabilities and also has a Junior Section for younger bowlers who are under 18 years old. The RIBA has several members who have represented Wales at international level. The RIBA has a bar and provides a catering service for our members, which includes hot meals, snacks, tea and coffee. A varied social programme is organised throughout the winter season and these social events are very popular and very well supported. | ||
