Paignton Torbay Bowling Club

Paignton Torbay Bowling Club was founded in 1920. It is a small friendly mixed club with 50 male and 30 female playing members. The clubhouse has a bar and the usual catering facilities. The club is situated in the centre of Paignton, near the seafront. Paignton has a wide range of hotels that can suit the budget of all visiting teams or people on holiday that would like to play bowls.

We welcome touring teams and we can accommodate up to seven rinks. We can also arrange games with other clubs in the Torbay Area. The green is usually open for play from the end of April until the end of September. The general public can play on the green from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 and until 12.30 pm. The club green stewards are available to help both experienced and new bowlers with equipment and advice if needed.

We welcome and encourage new members who would be interested in being taught the game of lawn bowls.
