I found this site by accident when checking out my faviourite Aussie outback town. I have very fond memories of my time in Bourke and in particular the hospitality of the locals at the "Bowl'o". I tell all that I meet how this Kiwi was alone one Saturday afternoon watching the footy when Kero came over to me and said "who are you mate" shortly after I was at his table with many of the other locals. I felt welcome and privilaged to have been apart of this club, albeit for only a short period of time. I still carry with pride my temporary membership card.
