Luton Indoor Bowls Club
Description: The Club was founded in 1988 and has occupied its existing building (which it owns) since its opening by Lady Diana, Princess of Wales in that year. Membership is open to persons of all ages and genders, and includes both playing and social members. There are 8 rinks with an average speed of 17 seconds, a large car park, and a function room which will accommodate about 100 people for meals; also changing rooms for male and females, and a good kitchen and bar. Facilities are available for the disabled. LIBC supports the sporting endeavours of under privileged members of society. New members are welcome. There is a small charge for tuition half of which is refunded if the trainee joins the club. | ||
