West Wimbledon Bowling Club

.West Wimbledon Bowls Club established 1921 when most of the surrounding area consisted of fields and meadow land. We even have members who can remember those days. But don’t be fooled into thinking that bowls is a game only for old people. It is simply one of the rare games that can be played competitively whatever your age or gender. Don’t take my word for it, come and see for yourself.
We compete in four different leagues in which we have had a fair modicum of success in recent times. In addition we have club competitions and a number of fun days. The green is available for play from April through to September so if you fancy coming to have a look, or even giving it a try, you will be made most welcome.
In addition to bowls we have a winter programme including race nights, quiz nights and many other social activities. We are also fortunate in having the services of an excellent chef who provides us with the occasional Sunday lunch or evening dinner.
