Old Dagenham Park Bowling Club
| Description: Old Dagenham Park Bowls Club is a friendly mixed club. It is based in Old Dagenham Park as the name implies. Our season runs from the end of April to the end of September and caters for all standards of bowling. Novices and young players are very welcome and will be given the appropriate advice by our qualified coach. The club is actively engaged in encouraging young players. More experienced bowlers are also welcome and can take part in various competitions and inter-club friendly matches. We are hoping, in 2011 season, to accommodate disabled wheelchair users who wish to learn and take part in the game of bowls. It was hoped to do this for 2010 season and purchased, through a lottery grant, a wheelchair, but have been let down by the Local Council regarding the renewal of banks and wheelchair access. The annual membership fees are very modest. Further information can be obtained from the Secretary. | ||
