Esclusham Bowling Club
| Description: Esclusham Bowling Club was established in 1933, largely due to a donation of £600 from the Miners Welfare Fund which was used to build the green. The Club and the surrounding area had strong links to the mining industry with the green being opened on 1st May 1933 by the manager of Bersham Colliery. The Club will be 80 years old in the 2013 Season. Honours include: 14 Wrexham League titles, 6 Welsh Counties League titles, 9 County Cup wins, 5 Welsh Club Championships and a British Club Championship semi final placing in 2009. The Club currently field teams in the Wrexham & District, Wrexham Veterans, Wrexham Pairs, Flintshire Mid Week and Welsh Counties Bowling Leagues and is always on the look out for new players. The history, players and achievements of the Club are detailed on the Club website which also features numerous photographs from 1933 to the present day. Additionally there is also a section which attempts to unearth the history of crown green bowling in the Wrexham area.
