As a crown green bowler and a visitor to Conwy my wife and I would have enjoyed a game on Sunday morning. We have played your green several times in the past. I went to see Pat (as suggested on the club noticeboard) and was told it was too much trouble. We left disappointed. I am surprised that at the present time you are prepared to turn custom away. We would have paid our fee and even played again tomorrow, weather permitting.

I passed Conwy BC Sunday at 9.30am and was astounded in the current very dry weather to see the green being generously watered by a hosepipe. If irrigating in dry mid summer do it at night or evening not in the morning and preferably not atcall. SAVE WATER.
