Don't know if this is of any interest to your club but I have just inherited a medal, won by my late Grandfather
, inscribed "handicap 1934 won by Alexander R McHaffie, Drummore Bowling Club" My Grandfather, 1888 to 1965, was a prominent member of society in Drummore back in the 30's/40's, a local draper/shopkeeper I am told. Also related to the late Tibby Scott whom I believe lived most of her life in Drummore and was a writer. Ken McHaffie
