| Description: The club participate in six leagues and several cup competitions each year, playing over 90 matches each season. Men's BE Triples League: played on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm. Mixed BE Triples League: played on Monday evenings at 6.30 pm. Mixed BE Fours League: played on Friday evenings at 6.30 pm. Woodbridge Fed League: Mixed triples, normally on Tuesday evenings at 6.45pm. Fynn Fed League: Mixed triples,normally on Thursday evenings at 6.45 pm. Samford Fed Afternoon League: Mixed triples of two rinks, Wednesdays at 2.30pm The Club run four sponsored invitation tournaments each year. New bowlers are invited to join, free tuition and guidance is provided by qualified coaches. The club has been successful in County and National competitions for many years, both at club and individual level. Club representatives have won through to the National Championships at either Worthing, Leamington or Skegness every year for the past 12 years, and in 2003 the club won both of the Suffolk County Bowls England major cup trophies. In 2011 two Melton members became National and County Senior Pairs Champions. | ||
