Crystal Palace Indoor Bowling Club
| Description: The oldest indoor club in the country, being formed in 1905. Famous cricketer W.G. Grace one of its founders. The club was first housed in the famous Crystal Palace but when fire destroyed the great glass complex in 1936 it moved to its present site a year later, the building taking just 10 weeks to complete. In 1935 Palace won the Denny Cup in its inaugural year and subsequently won it for the next two years. | ||
