CYM Bowls Club
| Description: CYM Bowling Club is located in the Dublin suburb of Terenure. It is a section of the successful multi-sport CYM Sports Club. A full bar and 2 function rooms are available. Whilst the sports club was founded in 1904, the Lawn Bowls section was not founded until 1947. It boasts a six rink grass green reputed to be one of the best in Ireland. Changing facilities are situated for both ladies and gents adjacent to the green itself. The Club runs 5 gents league teams; the top 3 playing on Saturdays and the other 2 playing on Monday evenings. The ladies section currently offers 4 teams.The Gents section has one of the most successful records in the Bowling League of Ireland with numerous successes in Cups and Leagues at all levels. In addition Club members have represented the Club at both International and Association level. The Ladies section was founded in 1985 and the lady bowlers have since been quick to make their mark with members also taking representative honours. | ||
