| Description: Clackmannan Bowling Club. Our Bowling Club is situated to the north of the River Forth, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Alloa, with picturesque views of the Ochil Hills. Our Club has a long and successful history since being Established in 1886. The club has a thriving membership of around 200 and we are always looking to welcome new playing and social members into the club. John Bell Jnr, Mark McCallum & Joe Young won the right to represent Scotland (Triples) at the British Isles Championship in Belfast 2009. Played at Northfield, Ayr from 31st July - 2nd August, the boys played superbly over the 3 days before beating Polmaise 24-20 in the final. | ||
