| Description: ****** NEW BOWLING CARPET FOR THE 2009/10 BOWLING SEASON ****** # Signing on nights - Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th August from 6.00 pm # Official Opening of New Carpet by Mayor and Mayoress of Christchurch - together with Deputy Mayoress and Priory Sports - Thursday 24th September 3.00 pm # FREE PLAY – for prospective members – 16th > 20th September # Open Play – for existing members – 21st > 27th September # Leagues commence - Monday 28th September # Further details at: www.eastdorsetibc.org.uk The club was founded in 1977 when it was the first purpose built indoor bowling club in the area. There are six indoor rinks, two lounges with bars, a snack bar, committee room and viewing area. New members are always welcome, beginners to internationals, and coaching is available by qualified coaches. Bowling takes place throughout the year and during the winter season there is a wider range of bowling events, e.g: club and association leagues; friendlies; competitions and casual roll-ups. There are regular social events, the club is very friendly and there are plenty of opportunities to participate in club activities either as a full or associate member. | ||
