Lawson Park Bowling Club
| Description: Lawson Park Indoor Bowls Club is situated in Kempston, Bedford, on the Hillgrounds Leisure Area and is readily accessible, having ample car park and coach parking facilities. We welcome all ages and communities to our club. The club was opened in 1989 and was purchased from the original owners by Hazelwood Leisure Limited in November 2006. Membership stands at over 600 with 423 men and 177 ladies regularly bowling, in addition to Social and Junior Members. We are affiliated to the English Indoor Bowling Association, English Women's Indoor Bowling Association, Bedfordshire Indoor Bowling Association and Bedfordshire Women's Indoor Bowling Association. We are the venue for the 2008/09 EIBA & EWIBA Competition Finals and 2008/09 Denny Plate and Denny Cup Finals Weekend. | ||
